Our client is a long-standing market leader in warehouse identification solutions, with expertise in durable systems designed to improve efficiency and organisation.
They company now require a Sales Executive for the midlands and Southern region. There is a portfolio of existing customers to manage, however the nature of the installation work is project by project. There are new enquiries from the existing customer base along with regular web enquiries and you will create and build your own network of contacts too. The successful candidate will be offered full product training but some knowledge of the racking and shelving industry or from warehouse signage would be useful as would knowledge of CAD drawing, which is useful for planning out floor systems.
Responsibilities
1. To manage existing and win new business that meets the agreed criteria (location, margin and market sector) to be discussed in the interview.
2. Carry out in depth market research to establish potential prospects/customers.
3. Relationship building to establish long term 'partnerships' with companies.
4. Proactively managing allocated accounts to ensure continued added value.
5. Attend sales meetings.
6. Produce analysis and visit reports.
7. Contribute to the overall sales and business strategy of the business.
The ideal candidate will have some market knowledge in Logistics, E-Commerce, Warehouse Storage sectors. Any additional understanding of data capture, barcode readers, printers, scanners etc. will also be useful.
