A little bit about the role...
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
* Management, supervision and coordination of subcontractors, site labour, plant hire, management, deliveries and equipment to achieve both plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
* Ensuring all units are built to the highest standard of quality, complying with building regulations, NHBC standards and specifications.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the build programme is achieved.
* Monitoring the cost of production.
* Ensure 100% compliance with current NHBC standards are achieved at all times.
* Ensure Group Health & Safety Policy and Regulations are met throughout the development cycle.
* Achieving 85% benchmark, on a fortnightly basis for the Group Health & Safety Inspection Report.
* Achieve 90% on overall customer service satisfaction survey questionnaire.
* Represent your development in all relevant internal and external project meetings.
* Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Department for regular update meetings to ensure a smooth and controlled delivery of homes for customers.
* Any other duties commensurate with the post.
* Effective management and development of all direct reports including; staff and operatives are managed and led effectively aligned with organisational strategy, culture, values and HR practices.

* A strong background and understanding in the new build housing industry, specifically in a site management role
* Excellent communication and able to work as part of a team to drive deliver
* In depth knowledge of all aspects of construction including NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
* Strong leadership skills with an ability to to develop your direct reports
* First aid qualified
* CSCS (Gold / Black)
* Scaffold inspection qualified
