Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen environment. You will be responsible for meal preparation, adhering to food safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.
* Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role is essential.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.33-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Stirling FK8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
* Preparing meals from ticket to plate: 1 year (required)
