My client is looking for a senior HR generalist with sound project experience for a permanent Head of HR Programmes appointment based in Edinburgh.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in the future success of the business through the delivery of concurrent, large-scale people-related projects.
As Head of HR Programmes, key accountabilities will include:
Working closely with Operations Leaders and HR CoE’s to ensure consistency & joined-up approach.
Large scale change and transformation projects across a variety of areas including Org Design, Resourcing, Training.
Engaging stakeholders central to the success of specific projects including SLT, managers, core workforce and HR.
Presenting to the SLT on progress, providing reports and presentations to a broad audience, to inform and engage them with the initiatives/project updates.
To be considered for this role you will be a strong senior HR business partner with a generalist background (to include the core areas of HR such as resourcing, org design, engagement, talent etc) with proven experience of large-scale transformation and HR projects (as an HRBP or in a dedicated HR project role) within a commercial, 'blue collar' setting ie manufacturing/engineering, oil & gas, logistics or similar.
You will be adept at partnering & influencing senior leaders up to c-suite with the ability to navigate complex structures and understand the appropriate levers and the ability to work at a strategic level.
This role will suit a communicative senior HR professional with a high level of EQ and commercial acumen and an understanding of the local market, used to working in a complex unionised environment going thru a period of change.
This is a hybrid role with 3/4 days onsite therefore you will need to live within a commutable distance of Edinburgh.
