We’re looking for a Yard Labourer to support day-to-day operations at a busy electrical equipment depot. This is a great entry-level role for someone early in their career who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop technical skills within the power generation industry.
What You’ll Do
7. Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of diesel generators and rental equipment
8. Help load and unload equipment in the yard
9. Support basic repairs and servicing tasks
10. Collect generator readings (hours and fuel levels) from returned equipment
11. Drive forklifts (training provided)
12. Occasionally deliver or collect parts using company vehicles
13. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures
What You’ll Need
14. Full UK driving licence
15. Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
16. Experience in a workshop, yard, or hands-on environment (desirable)
17. CSCS card preferred
18. A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
