Are you a quality manager with experience working in a highly regulated industry? This could be the perfect role for you. This is an opportunity to work with a growing business who have plans to treble the turnover in the coming years. With plans in place to increase the headcount by 50, this is a great time to join a multisite business going from strength to strength. With a strong orderbook and working with an interesting portfolio of customers, this role would suit a quality manager with a strong background of managing small teams and working in highly regulated industries.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the plant manager, this role will see you managing a small team of team of quality engineers and technicians.
* Dealing with customer complaints and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
* Making use of continuous improvement methodology and quality tools such as 8D and 5Y to improve existing processes.
* Management of the QMS.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* The successful candidate will come from a background of quality management.
* Experience working to ISO standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
* Customer facing experience and dealing with customer complaints.
* A track record of managing external and internal audits.
* Experience working within a highly regulated industry : automotive, medical.
