We are currently seeking CPCS Slinger/Signallers for work across Aberdeen, Peterhead, and surrounding shire areas.
These are various ad-hoc roles, primarily within sorting and lifting operation areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directing crane lifting operations safely and efficiently
* Assessing loads, including estimating weight and balance
* Selecting, inspecting, and correctly using lifting gear (slings, shackles, etc.)
* Attaching, guiding, and landing loads in accordance with site procedures
* Using standard hand signals and radio communication
* Adhering to site rules, risk assessments, and method statements
* Maintaining high safety standards at all times
Requirements:
* Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller (A40) card – essential
* Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
