We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, supportive, and professional working environment. The Role We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team. This is a key administrative position within the business, providing support to the Chartered Surveyor while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Key Responsibilities Acting as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone Managing reception duties and handling general enquiries Typing and formatting survey reports and professional correspondence Scheduling appointments and coordinating diaries Liaising with clients and estate agents Managing incoming and outgoing mail and emails Maintaining accurate records and organised filing systems Providing general administrative support to the Surveyor Essential Criteria Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy Excellent attention to detail Professional and friendly telephone manner Good organisational and time-management skills Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively What We Offer Competitive salary of £27,000 per annum Stable position within a well-established local firm Friendly and professional office environment Potential flexibility in working hours where required
