They are seeking a reliable Site Manager to oversee a Cat B office fit-out near Tottenham Court Road for 9 weeks with the opportunity to continue working for them. About Our Client: Our client is a well-respected name in the design and build sector, celebrated for their seamless project delivery and commitment to creating inspiring, functional workspaces. They require a competent individual to step in and manage a key project during this specific period, ensuring continuity and maintaining their high standards. The Role: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a Cat A & B office fit-out project. This will be a focused assignment, with your primary goal being to ensure the project progresses safely and efficiently in the absence of the permanent Site Manager. You will be the central point of contact on-site, coordinating trades and maintaining the project schedule. Key Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the on-site management of the project for 9 weeks Ensure the project is delivered according to the agreed programme and quality standards. Supervise and coordinate all subcontractors and direct labour on site. Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and company procedures. Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure it meets the project specifications. Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly. Conduct regular site meetings and provide comprehensive progress updates. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects. A strong understanding of the fit-out process and the coordination of various trades involved. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. A proactive and hands-on approach to site management. Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations within a construction environment. Valid CSCS card (Manager/Professional level). Valid SMSTS certificate. Valid First Aid certificate. Must be immediately available for the full duration of the contract (8th - 15th August). Must be able to commute to the Holborn area.
