Get ready to be part of something truly extraordinary at Hilton Woking, taking a leading role in Woking's Victoria Square redevelopment. Our hotel features 189 guest rooms (including 12 suites) with the lobby bar GLOW, the all-dining restaurant OXBO, and the Sky Bar LOFT, plus Meetings & Events for up to 500 guests. This is a part-time role working 30 hours a week. Candidates must be flexible to work across the week Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
* A Food and Beverage Assistant is responsible for working in our OXBO Restaurant and will work to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working to achieve departmental targets. What will I be doing?
* Able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage namely the restaurant
* Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
* Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
* Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
* Follow cash handling procedures
* Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
* Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
* Ensure compliance of brand standards
* Strive to achieve departmental targets
* Ensure cleanliness of work areas
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
* Comply with local licensing laws
* Be environmentally aware
* Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
