What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Curriculum team, you will work closely with the Curriculum Innovation Manager to develop structured, academically grounded learning materials for our Leadership & Management professional qualifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing clear, engaging, and academically credible learning content aligned to CMI Leadership & Management standards
* Synthesising contemporary leadership research, practitioner insights, and academic literature into accessible, practice‑focused learning materials
* Enhancing existing modules to strengthen clarity, rigour, and learner experience
* Applying pedagogical principles to create coherent, scaffolded learning journeys that support assessment readiness
* Collaborating with subject matter experts, quality colleagues, and digital developers to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with programme requirements
* Ensuring all content reflects current leadership thinking, commercial relevance, and professional standards
While apprenticeships may form part of future development, the primary focus of this role is the enhancement of our commercial Leadership & Management qualifications.
This role is particularly suited to individuals currently undertaking, or aspiring to undertake, postgraduate study (MA/PhD) in Business, Leadership, Organisational Development, HRM, or related fields.

Ideal Candidates Will Bring
* Strong understanding of leadership and management theory, with the ability to interpret and apply academic frameworks
* Experience developing learning materials for HE, FE, or professional qualifications (e.g., CMI, ILM, CIPD)
* Relevant qualification in Leadership & Management, ideally CMI‑accredited
* Confidence synthesising academic and industry research into structured, accessible content
* Ability to write clearly, concisely, and engagingly for diverse professional audiences
* Strong research skills and familiarity with credible academic and practitioner sources
* Comfort working with structured templates and maintaining consistency across multiple modules
* Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and an iterative approach to development
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Passion for shaping high‑quality professional development programmes
