Site Manager
Location: Preston office, Site based around Lancashire and Cumbria. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week.
As a Site Manager for Novus, you'll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and your team every day, enhancing your job satisfaction. This varied and challenging role offers the opportunity to manage a skilled professional trade team in a secure environment with long-term contracts, providing growth and learning opportunities.
You will utilize your Site Management skills in Social Housing, planned refurbishment works, and look for ways to add social value to communities and customers. Supported by peers, team, and management, you'll solve problems and make decisions to develop relationships and revenue.
Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of multiple sites, particularly within assisted living and retirement properties, delivering refurbishment programs, painting, roofline replacements, and civil works. You will ensure all site personnel perform tasks efficiently and effectively to complete contracts on time, within budget, with zero defects, and maintaining health & safety standards.

* Manage site teams, work activities, and resources to meet contract requirements.
* Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including subcontractors.
* Collate preconstruction information such as packs and asbestos surveys.
* Ensure timely and accurate contract documentation and reports in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
* Identify site hazards and implement risk assessments and control measures.
* Ensure compliance with legal and statutory health, safety, and welfare requirements.
* Assist in preparing estimates, bids, and tenders with the Contracts Manager.
* Create, manage, and report on multiple live site projects using a master programme.
About You
The successful Site Manager will have strong experience in planned refurbishment works within social housing/tenanted properties, with good knowledge of internal and external works. You should be capable of managing multiple sites, possess commercial awareness, and have excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients and tenants. Hold SMSTS or NVQ qualifications, be proficient in MS Office, and hold a full UK driving license. A DBS check will be required.
