As a Cook in Leicestershire Traded Services, you will assist the Head chef with the preparation, cooking and distribution of meals, including hospitality catering and special dietary needs. In the absence of the Head chef, you will be required to liaise with the Front of house team regarding their requirements, share this information with catering colleagues, and take responsibility for the operation of the kitchen including the production of food.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and be willing to undertake any required training.
Have basic knowledge of food safety and health and safety.
Be able to establish rapport with children and young people.
Have a flexible approach to work including working outside of normal working hours and the ability to travel to various locations.
