Job: HR / People Officer

Salary: £35,000 - £36,000 DOE

Have you worked with HR systems and people data, ensuring accuracy and producing meaningful reports? This is a broad and hands‑on People Officer role within a well-established, multi‑site organisation. Working closely with the Group Head of People, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day delivery of the people agenda.
This role offers real variety, exposure across the full HR lifecycle, and the chance to build solid foundations for a long‑term career in HR.
What you’ll be doing
* Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
* Providing guidance on policies, procedures, contracts and general HR matters
* Supporting onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
* Managing and maintaining HR systems, including acting as administrator for the ATS (Eploy)
* Supporting recruitment activity and coordinating with hiring managers and agencies
* Producing and analysing people data and monthly reports
* Assisting with employee relations casework alongside senior HR colleagues
* Coordinating learning and development activity, including apprenticeships
* Supporting HR projects and group‑wide initiatives
* Maintaining accurate documentation, systems and records
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a HR or People role (minimum 18 months or relevant placement)
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
* Confidence working with HR systems and data
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
