Job Title: Quality Manager
As a Quality Manager, you'll deploy the quality strategy within your assigned line of business and coordinate activities to meet project, product, and service quality standards. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent quality that meets both external and internal requirements. Your role is pivotal in promoting a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and promotion of a Quality culture aligned with the overall Quality Strategy.
2. Establish quality-process links with customers, ensuring compliance and integration across the business.
3. Support stakeholders in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Implement advanced quality techniques focused on risk management and prevention.
5. Encourage reflection on enhancing the role of quality considering customer value, digitalization, new technologies, and sustainability.
6. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers to embed quality and deliver outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Oversee activities like development of Project Assurance Plans, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, auditing, and risk management.
8. Maintain performance KPIs for informed decision-making.
9. Represent the Quality Function in meetings at sector, program, and senior levels.
10. Deliver assessment plans to support program risk management and opportunity realization.
11. Possess experience in electronics, avionic, automotive, defense, space, or similar industries.
12. Have knowledge of advanced quality tools, lifecycle management, and APQP.
13. Proficient in root cause analysis tools such as 8D and DMAIC.
14. Understand AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and experience in related audits.
15. Be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
16. Experience in coaching, developing teams, and managing project plans.
17. Possess good analytical skills, attention to detail, and IT proficiency.
18. Willingness and ability to travel as required.
19. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
