Maximo Developer
Location: Manchester
Rate: Negotiable (outside IR35)
Duration: initial 3-month contract with potential extensions
Working Model: Remote
We are seeking experienced Maximo professionals for our aviation client to join a high-performing agile delivery team on an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35). This work will support a major programme of Maximo development, configuration and technical enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Maximo development, configuration and technical fixes within an agile delivery model.
* Lead and contribute to solution design, ensuring alignment with Maximo best practice and future platform capabilities.
* Participate effectively in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.
* Produce code and configuration to a consistently high standard.
* Provide consultancy-level guidance on Maximo capabilities and roadmap, supporting discussions with business stakeholders.
* Work proactively identifying improvements, raising clarifying questions, suggesting options and supporting continuous improvement.
* Communicate clearly and confidently on technical issues, solution approaches and progress updates.
Required Experience
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on Maximo experience
* Strong technical development skills and understanding of Maximo best practices
* Experience delivering within agile teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive, consultative mindset
