The Role
I am seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join this growing modular contractor. This is a roaming, site-based role managing projects across the UK. You will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of modular construction projects, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality and programme performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and lead day-to-day site operations for modular building projects.
2. Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards and exercise stop-work authority when required.
3. Oversee project programmes, ensuring works stay on schedule and within budget.
4. Coordinate subcontractors, labour and site resources.
5. Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain compliance with specifications and building regulations.
6. Provide accurate, timely progress reporting to the operations team.
7. Build and motivate a high-performing site team, maintaining a positive and engaging site culture.
8. Work from BIM-based documentation and ensure all site personnel operate from correct drawing revisions.
Candidate Profile
9. Strong background as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, ideally within modular construction or MMC.
10. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
11. Highly organised, with strong communication and stakeholder-coordination abilities.
12. Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for quality and detail.
13. Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings/BIM models.
14. Able to travel and work on sites across the UK as required.
