Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Catering Manager - South Sector within our Catering Production & Services Department based at University Hospital Ayr.
What You Will Do
To manage and develop a high-quality comprehensive catering service to meet the needs of patients, staff and visitors for inpatient sites across South locality, reporting to the sector catering manager. Providing a nutritious, cost effective service which demonstrates value for money in support of direct patient care.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
Educated to degree level in catering management and/or equivalent experience; City & Guilds 706/2 or equivalent trade qualification; Advanced Food Hygiene Diploma.
* You will have: Many years’ experience in senior supervisory/managerial level of high-volume catering operations preferable within the NHS.
* Implementing food safety controls and undertaking risk assessments
* Knowledge of high value budgetary management.
Hours
37 hours, mainly Monday – Friday
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership: A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
