Job Details Our Customer Services team are the heart of People’s Partnership, and this role is within our Customer Service Delivery Department. You will be responsible for managing an administration area within customer services. You will be leading and developing team leaders and the teams, whilst overseeing the work processes and ensuring the workload is resourced effectively. Working alongside other Customer Service Managers and wider Leadership team to ensure department objectives are achieved, contributing to People’s Partnership overall strategy and purpose – to help people to build financial foundations for life. Key Responsibilities • Manging cost; forecast and manage area budget through actively managing recruitment, productivity, performance, process efficiency and shrinkage. • Setting strategic objectives for own area and team that feed into the business strategy and purpose. • Accountable for ensuring the teams are actively managed to achieve the company objectives and strategy through performance management and objective setting. • Lead and manage the team leaders in line with company policies and procedures, including training and competency, development, performance appraisal and disciplinary and grievance issues. • Conduct investigation and disciplinary meetings. • Encourage and recognise good performance and develop high levels of employee engagement. Essential Skill and Experience • Customer Service experience, preferably in a Financial Services environment. • People Management. • Current pension legislation. • Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. • Excellent communication skills, written and oral. • Analyse information, make decisions and apply solutions. • Supervise and motivate staff. • Work with minimum supervision. • Work with and understand products and processes within a financial services background.
