Job Title: Sales Executive – Commercial Vehicles
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 basic (DOE) + Bonus - OTE £50,000-£60,000
Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm - Saturdays on rota (as required)
Our client have over 30 years of expertise and experience in the commercial vehicle sales and acquisitions and due to their success and growth they are now looking for a Sales Executive to be based from their head office in Preston.
Job Summary
Our client is looking for a professional and motivated Sales Executive to join their expanding commercial vehicle operation. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales ability, excellent communication skills, and a desire to maximise their earnings in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Sell a range of used commercial vehicles to retail and trade customers
• Handle inbound enquiries and follow up warm leads
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Present vehicles accurately, including pricing and specifications
• Work with internal teams to maximise sales opportunities
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process
• Maintain accurate records and follow internal procedures
Requirements
• Proven sales experience (automotive or commercial vehicle experience preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Target‑driven with a proactive, self‑motivated approach
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
• Basic salary: £25,000–£30,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000+
• Flexible structure available (lower basic/higher commission or balanced package)
• 30 days holiday including bank holidays
• 4 days reserved for Christmas shutdown
• Supportive working environment with strong earning potential
