Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for managing an established team and a growing hospitality offering.
You will be directly responsible for the unit as a whole, this is an amazing opportunity for a career minded and experienced manager who is looking to make their mark and grow with the role.
Main responsibilities include:
* Ensure that health and safety standards are understood and delivered by all staff.
* Motivate and support the team to achieve their objectives.
* Ensure that all equipment is working to optimum efficiency at all times by managing the maintenance contracts for all kitchen appliances.
* Manage all aspects of Health & Safety, environment and quality assurance.
* Ensure the food offering is of the highest standards at all times.
* Ensure a varied offering across all outlets.
You will need excellent delegation skills, coupled with a training ethos to continually develop the team. The food offering is full of innovation and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future development of the offering.
Ideal candidate / Required Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience of managing a large multi faceted unit.
* Experience of managing a large team.
* Experience of producing large amounts of meals.
* Proven experience of managing to budget requirements within a catering service.
* Excellent stock management.
* Experience in the training and development of staff.
* Relevant qualifications in Food Safety and Hygiene standards and Health & Safety.
* GCSE Maths and English.
* Ability to procure and manage third party relationships including maintenance contractors, suppliers etc.
* Must be able to travel

The role is offered as a permanent position, 32.5 hours per week, working term time only, based over Monday to Friday. Dolce and our client schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
This position is subject to a successful DBS clearance (cost covered by Dolce).
