About the job you’re considering
Capgemini Engineering UK is a leader in innovation and high-tech engineering services, focusing on Intelligent Systems, Product Development, Lifecycle Experience, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Systems. You will be responsible for establishing and managing the quality process, including maintaining Quality Management Systems, developing process assets, and acting as a subject matter expert in areas such as Auditing, Service Management, and Six Sigma. You will also maintain process metrics, drive external quality certification initiatives, conduct Quality Audits, and support sales, delivery, and engineering functions by highlighting the organization’s processes and platforms.
Hybrid working
Your work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on role needs. Note that remote work cannot be 100% from home.

Role responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance.
2. Ensure quality documentation is accurate and accessible.
3. Monitor and report on key quality metrics.
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with standards like AS9100D.
6. Coordinate and manage external audits.
7. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
8. Manage and support quality processes on SharePoint.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
Candidate profile
Minimum 7 years in quality management, with ISO 9001 experience. Familiarity with AS9100D, QMS management, and audit experience. Advanced SharePoint and Visio skills. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities. Experience in aerospace or defense industries is essential. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma is desirable.
