Overview
Site Manager role at Just Size 2, fixed term contract - full time (40 hours).Location: Osprey House Hub, St Albans.
We are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join us in our Osprey House Hub in St Albans. This role leads the day-to-day activity of the Project in accordance with our best practice and governance standards, ensuring all business objectives are met within time, cost and budget constraints, while supporting the bid and business development process.
With a detailed understanding of operational, commercial, and contractual KPIs, you will manage and maximise operational service delivery and productivity, including developing service delivery programmes from start to finish, promoting a clear focus on quality assurance, service accessibility and responsiveness, and maximising client involvement and feedback.
Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day project activity in line with governance standards to meet time, cost, and budget objectives.
* Support bid and business development processes as required.
* Develop and manage service delivery programmes from start to finish.
* Monitor and maximise operational service delivery and productivity.
* Ensure quality assurance, service accessibility, and responsiveness; promote client involvement and feedback.
About You / Qualifications
* Significant technical knowledge within planned works and maintenance in the social housing sector, including internal and external projects.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates.
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and NVQ Level 6.
* Sound knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials.
* Excellent time management, good IT skills, and proactive, flexible approach with strong influencing skills.
* Experience in a successful planned-works team environment, delivering extensive external and internal schemes (£250K - £1m projects) including Fire Safety Works, Doors, shaft walling, compartmentalisation, stopping, cladding, windows and doors, roofing, and regeneration.
* Valid full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
