Your Opportunity We are currently seeking an HR Administrator to join our HR team, playing a crucial role in our journey to become a world leader in a global industry driving sustainable food packaging solutions. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role will provide essential administrative support across a wide range of HR processes, helping to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the people function. Where youll be You will be located at our site in Dollingstown, Lurgan which is approximately 30 minutes travelling time from Belfast. What youll be doing Key responsibilities will be wide ranging and will include assisting the HR Team with the following: Supporting the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, updating HR systems, and managing candidate communications. Ensuring recruitment files and monitoring records are accurate and up to date in the HR system to support compliance with monitoring regulations. Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Monitoring Return. Maintaining HR systems accurately, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Supporting the onboarding and induction processes to provide a positive new employee experience. Conducting entry and exit interviews, following up on feedback as required. Liaising with recruitment agencies regarding temporary employees, including arranging interviews, monitoring working hours, submitting timesheets, and addressing queries about pay, absence, and holidays. Preparing HR reports and assist with monitoring key HR metrics. Undertaking administrative tasks related to training and development, including sourcing courses, booking sessions, and maintaining employee records. Organising occupational health reviews as required. Providing cover for payroll processing during periods of holiday or absence. Supporting audits, reporting, and HR documentation. Ensuring confidential and sensitive information is handled with discretion at all times. Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR team across all HR processes. Assisting with employee engagement initiatives across the business. Assisting with ad-hoc projects and HR initiatives as needed. Other duties as required What youll bring to the role Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent Proven experience in an administrative role within a professional environment Good understanding of HR processes and systems. Strong IT literacy, with confidence using Microsoft Office applications Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage and adapt to an increasing workload Strong communication and teamworking skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within the organization Highly organized and detail-orientated with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines Ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information, maintaining discretion at all times. Whilst not essential it would be advantageous to your application if you could also bring:- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a busy HR office, with the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of HR processes and systems. Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably in a busy HR office Previous experience using HR software systems, including Workday, PAMS, and North Time & Data Hold, or be working towards, a CIPD qualification.
