The Opportunity
As Quality Manager, you'll report to the Group Head of Quality and lead the site's production quality function - driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with demanding customer and industry standards, and inspiring a culture of operational excellence across the business.
You'll play a key role in shaping quality strategy, managing audits, and working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to maintain the highest levels of product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Quality team to deliver robust systems, procedures, and performance.
Manage and maintain certifications including IATF 16949 and AS9100.
Act as the primary contact for customer and third-party audits.
Drive problem-solving and root cause analysis to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence.
Partner with engineering and operations to embed quality at every stage of production.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Analyse data, report KPIs, and provide insight to support strategic decision-making.About You
Experienced Quality professional with a background in automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering.
Strong understanding of IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO9001 and other customer-specific requirements.
Skilled in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Hands-on approach with the ability to influence and drive change.
Confident managing audits, developing teams, and leading quality improvement programs.
Solid knowledge of APQP and associated manufacturing quality tools.Why This Role?
