* Grade G, scale points 18 - 23: £29,269 - £32,076 pro rata (£25,596 - £28,051 actual salary + pending pay award from April 2024)

We are seeking anorganised, intelligent and pragmatic HR Officer to join our team.This is a new position in the College’s staff structure so the successful candidate will play a part in shaping the role. The HR Officer will lead on effective human resource management at the College.
Candidates will be experienced in working in Human Resources, preferably in a school or education setting.They will be capable, articulate and dedicated to bringing positive outcomes for young people in our school community. This is a busy and varied role and the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside senior leaders to ensure the management of the College is highly effective.

The successful applicant will:
* have be suitably qualified and experienced in Human Resources;
* have experience of working in the education sector;
* have a strong understanding of employment law, particularly that pertaining to education;
* have experience of using IT systems to good effect;
* have proven organisational skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others;
* have an up to date knowledge ofsafeguarding, KCSiE and child protection policies applicable to HR functions within educational setting;
* be a committed, highly-competent, reflective and resilient individual;
* be discreet, confidential and understand the need for sensitivity;
* have a sense of humour and good interpersonal and communication skills.
