Workshop Labourer - Bowburn, County Durham Working shifts: week 1: 6am – 2pm; Monday - Thursday, Friday 6am - 12pm Week 2: 2pm - 10.25pm - Monday - Thursday (Both equals 36.33 hrs) Rate £14.89/hr Workshop Labourer Responsibilities: * To fit HELICOIL’s to finished goods before dispatch * De-burring of parts * Cleaning of finished goods * Finished goods packing * Rumbling of customers goods * Surface preparation of machined goods * Working with others in workshop doing mixed tasks like empty skips, loading shelves, unpacking boxes etc. Workshop Labourer Attributes: * Attention to detail * Good eye for finished products * Teamwork and team player * Ability to work on own * Experience in above tasks * Good timekeeper * Worked in busy subcontract engineering workshop Key Skills and Experience: Essential * Can do attitude * Good communication skills * Confident and good people skills * Understanding of precision parts and how to handle them Desirable * Problem solving ability * Experience working with team members * Worked within a manufacturing industry * Experience with workshop environment * Fitting HELICOILS in finished goods
