Job Description
The Materials Division of Northstone (NI) Limited is one of the leading quarry, civil engineering and road contractors operating in Northern Ireland and Border Counties. We are looking for Labourer sto join our Surfacing and Prep teams at Croaghan Depot.
Working as part of the Contracts team, the successful candidates will assist in laying bound and unbound materials and they will report to the Surfacing Foreman.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in carrying out surfacing and prep on various sites
· To carry out daily checks when required
· Adherence to all Company Health and Safety standards and actively promote safe working practices on the use of machines and equipment
· Assist with any other reasonable duties as required by the Site Foreman
· Work as part of an established team.
Requirements
· Driving license
· Strong practical skills, showing dexterity, speed and accuracy
· Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
· Excellent attender & timekeeper
· Good team player with confident communication skills
· Sound understanding of Health & Safety matters.
· Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
· Previous experience of operating plant would be beneficial.
