Key Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and ASC needs
* Use positive behaviour strategies and therapeutic interventions to promote emotional regulation and resilience
* Build trusted, consistent relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated
* Collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support
* Differentiated learning materials and approaches to meet a wide range of needs
* Contribute to pupil progress tracking and development planning

What We’re Looking For

* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and/or SEND in a school or alternative provision
* A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to managing behaviour and emotions
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* A reflective practitioner who’s committed to continuous professional growth
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEMH, behaviour support, or SEND (desirable)

Why Join This Provision

* A welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment where every staff member is valued
* Ongoing CPD and training in trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
* Small class sizes, modern facilities, and a focus on wellbeing
* The opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in young people’s lives
