Catering Manager - Loughborough
We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead the delivery of Catering services across site. You will ensure operational excellence, a positive safety culture, and compliance with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure a safe environment and promote a strong safety culture.
* Manage all services to meet contractual, hygiene, and compliance standards (NHS, ISO, Food Hygiene).
* Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear objectives and performance management.
* Build strong client relationships through effective communication and reporting.
* Control budgets, labour, and stock to meet financial targets.
* Conduct audits, address non-compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
* Use company systems to manage schedules, compliance, and reporting.
* Provide cover for other managers and supervisors as needed.
About You
* Proven experience in facilities or soft services management.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
* Confident managing teams in a demanding environment.
Essential
* Proven operational management experience within a catering environment with sound knowledge of procedural and legislative frameworks
* Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate Level 4.
* HACCP in practice.
* Excellent communication and team management experience.
* Sound financial acumen and experienced in managing budgets and growing sales
* Proven experience in managing direct teams to deliver high quality and customer service standards
* Computer literate and capable of using Microsoft packages
* Good standard of education
