We are seeking a reliable and experienced Labourer to join our team. This is a full-time temporary position. There is potential to learn trades within the company as we are family business and we like to encourage growth in the workforce.
Minimum contract length: 3 months with opportunity to extend.
INTERVIEWS TO BE HELD ON SITE ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials (bricks, cement, tools, etc.).
* Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
* Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
* Assist skilled workers (e.g., joiners, plasterers, or plumbers) with their tasks.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Follow all safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
* Help with the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
* Good physical stamina and strength.
* Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
* Ability to work well with a team.
* Willingness to learn and take direction.
* Good communication skills.
