Labourer – Forfar area

Role

KBM are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer to join a busy operations team based just outside Forfar. This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is willing to support a variety of workshop and yard activities.

The successful candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a small team. A strong commitment to health and safety is essential, and full training will be provided where required.

Key Responsibilities

* Power washing equipment and work areas

* Buffing, stripping, and painting equipment

* Assisting with basic fabrication and workshop tasks

* Supporting workshop and yard operations as required

* Loading, unloading, and safely moving equipment and materials

* Operating a forklift truck (training can be provided)

* Ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently

* Completing and returning relevant paperwork when required

* Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures

* Driving company vehicles safely and professionally where required

Knowledge & Skills Required

* Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times

* Good awareness of health and safety practices

* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Flexible approach to daily tasks and responsibilities

Experience Required

Previous experience in any of the following would be beneficial, although full training can be provided:

* Power washing equipment

* Buffing and surface preparation

* Spray painting

* General workshop or labouring duties

* Forklift truck operation
