We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is integral to our kitchen operations, focusing on food preparation and meal creation. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
* Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation for service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
* Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques and meal preparation
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
