Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

About the Role
Giraffe Fabrications is looking for a reliable and hard-working Labourer to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role in a busy workshop and warehouse environment. The role covers a wide range of general labouring duties including assembly, wrapping, paint shop preparation, forklift use, outdoor upkeep, and general site support.
You'll need to be physically fit, comfortable with manual handling, and willing to turn your hand to different tasks as needed. A full UK driving licence is required, and past forklift experience is necessary (refresher training provided if required).
What You'll Be Doing
* General labouring across workshop and warehouse areas
* Assembling goods using hand and power tools
* Wrapping finished goods ready for dispatch
* Assisting in the paint shop - hanging and cleaning down materials for painting
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
* Moving materials and equipment safely around the warehouse and factory
* Carrying out light outdoor work such as general site upkeep and keeping outside areas tidy
* Driving a 3.5-tonne van if required (local use)
* Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock and equipment
* Keeping workspaces clean, tidy, and organised
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
* Supporting other basic tasks as needed
What You'll Need
Essential:
* Fork truck driving experience (licence an advantage but not necessary)
* Full, clean UK driving licence
Skills & Experience:
* Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
* Physically fit – able to carry out light to medium manual handling safely
* Awareness of health and safety in a warehouse or workshop environment
* Team player who is willing to take instruction and support colleagues
* Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in keeping workspaces tidy and safe
* Positive, flexible attitude - happy to help out where needed
