About The Role
Reporting to the Executive People Director, our Head of People, will shape, drive and deliver the people plan, aligning people initiatives with the business strategy. This role provides a balance of both strategic and operational activity across the full employee life cycle.
In addition to leading the People Operations, Talent Acquisition and People Partner teams, this role will also serve as a business partner for a specific Service area.
What You'll Do
* Lead the delivery of the People strategy across Talent Acquisition, ER, Performance, Engagement, Reward and People Operations.
* Lead and oversee ER case work, providing advice, coaching and guidance
* Lead the Talent Acquisition strategy to create attraction strategies and proactive talent pipelines.
* Lead and support people-related projects, including pay and reward, talent management and employee engagement.
* Partner with senior leaders to drive organisational design, change and continuous improvement.
* Champion culture, wellbeing, inclusion and belonging, leading initiatives across all our Services.
* Lead and develop the People team and manage the People budget.
Essential
What We're Looking For
* Senior People leadership experience across all people-related generalist areas
* Experience in leading and managing people management change programmes.
* Ability to coach senior leaders and lead organisational change.
* Strong employment law knowledge.
* Knowledge of people data, analytics, KPI's and metrics – able to measure impact.
* Understanding of reward, pay and benefits strategies.
* Qualified to CIPD Level 7 (or similar).
Desirable
* Experience in the social care sector – preferably Education, Fostering and/or residential childcare.
* Coaching qualification
* Project management experience/qualification Location: Hybrid – Travel to Salisbury Office and other sites 3 days a week
