A skilled SQL Migrations Developer is required to join a small but growing team. Initially the successful candidate will be working on a large project to migrate a global client base numbering in the hundreds from multiple legacy applications into a single global Azure SaaS product.
Responsibilities
* Design a migration solution with the rest of the team to allow migrations to be run efficiently and at high volume.
* Be flexible around working hours as production migrations will often be run out of hours.
* Be highly proactive in self‑starting, motivating, introducing innovation and continuous improvement to the team.
* Experience of working in Insolvency or Financial Services would also be highly beneficial.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2.1 degree in IT or an equivalent technical subject.
* Required – Minimum 5 years experience working within a SQL Developer role or a similarly titled position.
* Required – Minimum 5 years working on ETL Data Migrations.
* Required – Minimum 3 years working in Azure SQL environments in a SQL Development capacity.
* Highly Desirable – Experience of Insolvency or Financial Services sectors.
