About the Role
Kids Planet Waterside is looking for a Nursery Cook to work Monday to Friday, no weekends or bank holidays. You will prepare healthy, nutritious meals, accommodate allergies and special dietary requirements, maintain a clean kitchen, ensure compliance with environmental health standards, and collaborate with children and the nursery team in snack‑making and baking activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring nutritional value and catering for allergies or special diets.
* Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to environmental health regulations.
* Assist with nursing and baking activities involving children.
* Support the nursery team in daily food‑service operations.
Requirements
* Catering experience, preferably in a similar environment.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Knowledge of special‑dietary food preparation.
* Valid Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
