A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly ranked Employment team in Birmingham. This is a permanent position with flexible hybrid working options available.
The Role
This position sits within a growing national Employment Practice Group advising an impressive and diverse client base.
* FTSE and Fortune 500 companies
* Public sector organisations and educational institutions
* Clients across sectors such as retail, technology, education, healthcare, and financial services
The work spans both contentious and non-contentious matters and can be tailored to suit the successful candidate's interests.
* Day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
* Employment litigation and tribunal claims
* Cross-border employment projects and international restructures
* Immigration and education sector work
* Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures
* Industrial relations and collective consultation matters
You will also play a key role in supporting junior team members and contributing to business development and client relationships.
The Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 4-8 years' PQE in employment law
* Experience handling both advisory and contentious employment matters
* Confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Able to manage matters independently and contribute to team development
* Commercially minded and comfortable working with high-profile clients
* Proactive, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a leading practice
