We're looking for an Installations Site Manager to join our expanding team!
Purpose of the Role
The Installations Site Manager oversees day‑to‑day site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard. The role involves managing sub‑contractors, materials and customer relationships while maintaining compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all scheduled works are completed on time.
* Oversee on‑site sub‑contractors, staff, resources, and materials.
* Prepare material lists.
* Maintain a positive relationship with sub‑contractors, employees and customers to ensure smooth project running.
* Organise regular site visits and final walkarounds, identifying additional works or snagging lists.
* Attend pre‑start site meetings and liaise with other staff regarding potential problems or issues.
* Be customer‑facing and visit ongoing works to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and manage programme of works on site, liaising with the Operations Manager, Customer Care Support and Installations Coordinator.
* Adopt a proactive approach to Health & Safety and maintain tidy working on site.
* Ensure quality control is adhered to and works are completed to a high standard.
* Organise final handovers between building and fitting teams.
* Keep customers fully informed where delays or unexpected complications arise.
* Investigate complaints, underlying causes and assist the management team with appropriate responses.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in site management or a supervisory role within construction or home improvements.
* Strong understanding of health and safety standards and site compliance.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, people and resources effectively.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience liaising with customers and resolving on‑site issues.
* Competent using digital tools or CRM systems for scheduling and reporting.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* NVQ Level 4 (or above) in Construction Site Supervision/Management.
* Experience within home improvements, fenestration or glazing sectors.
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Hands‑on and solutions‑focused.
* Leads by example with professionalism and accountability.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Committed to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
* Adaptable and proactive when managing challenges.
