A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOK
What you'll be doing...
Shift pattern 5pm-9pm Monday to Thursday 16 hours per week
* Preparing & cooking basic meals using microwaves, fryer and Merry Chef
* Serving meals
* Maintain a clean, organised kitchen
* Clearing tables & pot washing
* Ensuring food safety standards are met
* Participate in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless.
This is a multi-tasking role that requires the successful applicant to be responsible for the preparing, cooking and serving of meals as well as maintaining and clean kitchen
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* Genuine interest in cooking
* Some previous kitchen experience is a MUST, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential.
* Understanding of basic food prep techniques
* Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and food safety.
* Team-oriented mindset, able to take direction well and support colleagues as needed.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying focused and reliable during busy services.
