What you'll be handling:
* Design, develop, and maintain software using established tools and frameworks such as ASP.NET, C# (WPF, EF, WCF), SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, XML, and XSD.
* Enhance and extend existing systems by analysing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new features across TGW’s Warehouse Control and Transport Services applications.
* Ensure software quality by creating technical specifications, developing and unit testing production-level code, and participating in structured testing processes.
* Support existing applications by identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting software defects.
* Collaborate within project teams to meet delivery milestones, contribute to software deployment, and assist with implementation and testing on customer sites.
* Continuously grow technical expertise by exploring new technologies and supporting onsite commissioning activities for up to 3–6 months per year.
What you'll need:
* A relevant degree in IT, Computing, or Software Engineering
* Knowledge of object-oriented programming
* Attitude to expand the knowledge base and skill set
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Strong communication skills and customer focus
* Good time/task management
* Ability to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe
