Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Manager role based at our New Milton facility. The Quality Manager will oversee the company’s quality management system, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining and improving quality procedures, conducting internal audits, managing corrective and preventive actions, and preparing for external audits and accreditation reviews. The role will monitor quality performance metrics, lead root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement. The Quality Manager will also provide guidance and training on quality standards, support new product introduction from a quality perspective, and interface directly with customers and regulatory bodies on quality‑related matters.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in quality management within aerospace, precision engineering, or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality standards and accreditation frameworks (e.g., AS9100/EN9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001) and practical experience maintaining compliant systems.
* Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), FMEA, control plans, and statistical process control.
* Experience in planning and conducting internal and supplier audits, and in preparing for and supporting external audits and customer quality reviews.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, ideally including experience with CNC or precision machining environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and build constructive relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Proven track record in continuous improvement, including identifying process gaps, implementing solutions, and measuring effectiveness.
* High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
* Proficiency with quality management systems (QMS) software and standard office applications.
