Are you a driven and experienced Quality Manager ready to lead and enhance quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment? This role offers the chance to coordinate quality activities across multiple departments while fostering supplier compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee effective quality control processes, including goods-in inspection and final checks on finished products.
* Manage accurate inventory controls, including quarantine and scrap procedures to ensure product integrity.
* Maintain and monitor Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective and Preventive Actions, ensuring all costs of quality are carefully recorded.
* Execute and uphold robust quality systems and documentation to meet rigorous standards.
* Ensure supplier adherence to national and international standards through audits and direct engagement.
* Conduct supplier visits to resolve quality issues and drive improvement.
* Support and inspire the quality team to achieve their objectives and enhance overall performance.
* Review sales orders and prepare Quality Design Plans to align with customer requirements.
* Maintain calibration systems to guarantee measuring equipment accuracy.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a quality role within manufacturing, including 5 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
* Proven expertise in internal and external auditing with strong customer-facing skills.
* Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong skills in policy implementation, auditing, standardising and improving tasks, calibration control, and leadership.
