HR - Management Platinum Recruitment are partnering with this locally based business as they look to hire and experienced HR Manager.
This is a new position and so you will need to have a proven track record in the HR space and also the desire to work with a business as they develop a new HR strategy. You will be involved from the ground up covering all aspects of HR as they look to implement new processes and procedures across the business.
Reporting to the MD you will have the authority to make the role your own as you drive this new strategy, managing relationships with executive staff, managers and individual employees. Responsible for the day-to-day management HR administrative, operational, and people related functions.
Responsibilities include:
Be the face and voice of HR within the business
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and in line with best practice. Revise existing policies and produce new policies as needed
Support the daily administration of HR services (including: organisational design and change, leadership development, performance management, compensation, employee retention, team building, and employee relations + more)
Strive to maintain a flexible and friendly work environment while meeting the needs of the business
To be successful you will need:
4+ years in a HR leadership role
Experience working with all staff levels up to exec level.
Background in several HR functions, e.g. policy writing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, health and safety, org development, training and development, legal compliance, etc.
Fluency in financial, market, technology, and operating subjects, as needed, to contribute to management team.
Effective advisory skills to management and employees.
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
