A stylish, destination café based in the Maws Craft Centre Courtyard in Jackfield near Telford. They serve a fantastic selection of food, including breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Home-baked cakes are a speciality.
This dog-friendly venue serves wholesome dishes using local and seasonal produce and can also cater for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan customers. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and supportive team, serving lovely clientele in a busy environment.
Your duties as Cook:
* Food preparation
* Cooking and serving customers in a timely manner
* Cooking breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea
* Baking cakes
* Stocking shelves and fridges
* Stock rotation
* General and deep cleaning
* Serving customers with food and drinks if required
* Washing up
* Taking orders on the till
* Other duties as required
* Training as a Barista will be given
Skills and experience were looking for in a Cook:
* Applicants must have experience in a similar environment
* Qualified to Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
* Excellent knowledge of food allergens
* Friendly and welcoming to customers
* Able to take instructions and work under own initiative
* Well-organised and an efficient team player
This is a part-time position every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday, approx. 14-21 hours a week. They will receive a salary of £12.21 per hour. A free lunch is available on days you are working, along with free onsite parking.
