We’re delighted to be partnering with one of our most prestigious, multi award-winning clients to recruit an HR Manager on a fixed-term contract of up to 15 months. With nearly 600 employees across 25 departments, this is a vibrant, fast-paced organisation that genuinely lives its values and is proud of its strong family feel. Hours & Contract
Full-time: 39 hours per week
Working pattern: Predominantly Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (very occasional weekend work)
Contract: Fixed-term, up to 15 months

The Role
As a key member of the management team, you’ll lead the HR function day to day, champion Company Values, and ensure the business continues to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading the full recruitment lifecycle, taking a hands-on approach where needed and continuously enhancing the candidate experience
Partnering with managers to deliver timely, practical, and compliant HR and employment law advice
Leading and developing a team of 4 HR professionals, providing coaching, direction, and support
Overseeing employee relations matters including performance, conduct, capability, absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases
Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote wellbeing and high performance
Managing contracts of employment, training agreements, and absence processes (short and long term), including liaison with Occupational Health
Analysing people data and turnover trends to inform retention strategies
Maximising the HR & Payroll system to improve workflows, reporting, and data accuracy
Producing monthly HR reports and insights
Supporting training, talent management, appraisals, performance reviews, and reward processes
Owning the employee experience from onboarding to exit, ensuring it is consistently engaging and evolving
Ensuring GDPR compliance and the integrity of all employee records
About You
You’ll be a confident, credible HR leader who enjoys working in a busy, people-centric environment. You’ll bring:
Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle, ideally in a medium-sized organisation
Experience leading and developing a small HR team
Strong, up-to-date employment law knowledge and the confidence to advise on complex issues
A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
Experience developing HR policies and using people data to drive decision-making
Strong technical capability, particularly with HR & Payroll systems
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of compliance
Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver cross-department initiatives
An approachable, diplomatic style with high professional integrity
CIPD Level 5 or above
Availability to work on-site within the HR office
