About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Product Development team. In this hands-on role, you'll build high-performance, customer-facing applications for kiosk systems. You'll help shape frontend architecture, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices across the team, focusing on technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain React/TypeScript applications using modern frameworks
2. Architect scalable, maintainable frontend systems with performance and accessibility in mind
3. Drive improvements in code quality, testing, and tooling
4. Champion responsive design and performance optimization
5. Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD enhancements
6. Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of learning
7. Contribute to component-driven architecture and design system evolution
8. Participate in production support and incident response
What You'll Bring
9. Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development
10. Expert-level knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern JS
11. Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
12. Deep understanding of performance optimization and accessibility
13. Experience with AWS, Docker, and advanced testing strategies
14. Proven ability to mentor and influence technical decisions
15. Agile delivery and continuous improvement mindset
Bonus Points
16. Experience with or Python
17. Familiarity with Kubernetes or advanced AWS services
18. Exposure to kiosk or POS hardware interfaces
19. Accessibility (WCAG) compliance expertise
