A large hospital in the Halifax area is looking for n Head of Manager to ensure all hard and soft services provisions across the contract are managed and all KPI's are met. With a large hard services team, the Estates Manager must have a strong knowledge of M+E and be familiar with HV/LV and AP compliance requirements.
* To ensure that the engineering and soft services are maintained to a high standard and in full compliance with all statutory, mandatory and contractual requirements.
* To ensure that records are maintained to support the works carried out.
* Lead, direct and motivate the contract team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential.
* Ensure maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary and quality constraints and in line with agreed service levels.
* Fully support the Regional Account Director in all aspects of contract delivery and future growth.
* Deliver the business strategy and achieve service objectives and profit while maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction.
* Ensure financial budgets and commercial/SLA obligations are achieved/exceeded.
* Foster a positive working environment of continuous learning, growth, innovation and calculated risks to attract and retain high calibre people.
* Ensure appropriate authorised personnel are trained and in place within the contract.
* Ensure that the integrity of the systems are achieved i.e. HV, LV, Pressure Systems etc.
* Contribute to the process of tendering contracts and the selection of new sub-contractors and suppliers through liaison with the Procurement teams.
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders - Trust, SPV, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, staff and staff representatives.
* Develop a highly satisfied Customer through regular client and customer meetings, promptly implementing actions.
* Understand the commercial requirements in relation to the Contract and ensure all areas are delivered, achieving required SLA/KPI targets.
* Meet planned targets and growth objectives by delivering continuous improvements leading to an improved and enhanced delivery model.
* Responsible for all aspects of Additional Works and associated revenue streams.
* Active monitoring of rectification time in line with KPI and performance levels.
* Design and implementation of PPM programme in conjunction with all services supported by the management, ensuring regular visits and inspections.
* Ensure that Lifecycle planning and delivery is achieved.
* Aid the growth of business reputation by improving, standardising and developing the monthly and annual reports for the SPV and other stakeholders, demonstrating service compliance with the payment mechanism.
* Lead and develop maintenance management strategies including Condition/Risk based maintenance in conjunction with the Technical Development Team.
* Ensure that obligations for H&S and any statutory requirements associated to the delivery of the contract are appropriately and fully applied.

Qualifications:
* Appropriate technical/engineering background with high level qualification (ideally mechanical or electrical).
* IOSH or equivalent managing Health and Safety.
* PFI or PPP experience.
* Proven experience of successfully managing and motivating staff.
* Previous experience as an AP or willing to train to be an Authorised Person.
