Job Description
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to step into a strategic and hands-on leadership role.
As People & Culture Lead, you'll partner with senior leaders to deliver the People Plan-Driving initiatives across the employee life-cycle, embedding inclusive practices, and supporting a values-led, high-performing culture.Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the organisation's people and culture strategy to align with business objectives.
* Lead recruitment, on-boarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
* Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Oversee the design and delivery of training and development programs to enhance staff skills.
* Implement performance management frameworks to drive accountability and excellence.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusivity and engagement.
* Manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated.
* Monitor and report on key HR metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
You will bring strong HR generalist experience, with exposure to leadership or management experience. You have a solid understanding of employment law, including the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards. Your background includes experience in employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
You approach challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and can confidently manage competing priorities. Your communication and stakeholder engagement skills are excellent, allowing you to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or a related discipline, and you're passionate about creating inclusive, values-led workplaces. Experience in sport, fitness, or community-focused organisations would be highly regarded.
