Site Manager – 132kV Substation (Snagging Phase)
Location: UK (Tier 1 Contractor)Start Date: Tuesday 5th May Duration: 8–10 weeks with potential follow-on work Rate: £350–£375 per day (Umbrella Paye or payee direct only)
The RoleA Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee snagging works on a new-build 132kV substation. You’ll take ownership of quality, safety, and coordination during the final delivery phase, ensuring all outstanding works are closed out efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage snagging activities on a 132kV substation project
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and client representatives
3. Ensure all works meetpliance, quality, and safety requirements
4. Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting
5. Drivepletion within programme timelines
Requirements
6. SMSTS (essential)
7. NSWRA (highly desirable)
8. Proven experience on HV / substation projects
9. Strong snagging and quality‑management background
10. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high standards
Hours
11. 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
